About Criminal Justice Degrees
Criminal Justice Degrees helps prospective students find and compare criminal justice, criminology and forensic science degrees at accredited US schools — from an associate degree or transfer pathway to a bachelor's, a master's or a PhD, on campus, online or hybrid. You can browse by degree level, subject, state and online format, filter by campus-visit and laboratory requirements, FEPAC accreditation, tuition basis and deadlines, and compare up to four programs side by side without creating an account.
What we are — and are not
We are an independent directory. We are not a college, a law enforcement agency, an admissions authority or a recruitment service, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any government body. We do not decide admissions: apply directly on each school's official website.
How the directory is built
We list a school only when it holds a current institutional accreditation recorded by the U.S. Department of Education, and a program only after checking on the school's own pages that it is an eligible degree — in the subject itself or a formal concentration, labelled as such. Each fact carries the official page it came from and the date we verified it. FEPAC accreditation of forensic science programs comes from FEPAC's own list. Candidates are first identified from federal datasets, accreditation records and systematic searches, and then checked on official institutional pages. Details are in our methodology.
Editorial independence
Directory pages are listed alphabetically by default. We do not publish numerical rankings: our Best Colleges pages are unranked selections with published criteria. Schools can buy clearly labelled sponsored placements; payment never changes facts, accreditation information, the order of results or whether a school appears in an editorial selection.
Coverage
Coverage is partial and growing, and the methodology page states what has been researched so far. If an eligible program is missing, tell us about it.
